Welcome to Elevate Invest ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). Elevate Invest is a halal investment tracking platform that operates on the Mudarabah (profit-sharing) model in compliance with Islamic Shariah principles.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Elevate Invest mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

      ⚠️ Important: Elevate Invest does not process financial transactions or
      accept deposits through the App. The App is used solely for viewing investment summaries, earnings
      reports, and account information managed by administrators.
    

📦 Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information during registration and use of the App:

1. Information You Provide

Full Name – for account identification
Email Address – for authentication and communication
Password – stored securely using Firebase Authentication (never stored in plain text)
Phone Number – for contact and verification purposes
National ID (NID) Number – collected solely for identity verification during registration; used to prevent fraud and comply with KYC requirements

2. Automatically Collected Information

Device Token (FCM Token) – for sending push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging
Device Type & OS Version – for app compatibility purposes

3. Camera Access

The App requests camera permission. Camera access is used only for optional features such as scanning QR codes (e.g., mobile_scanner). Camera images are not uploaded or stored by us. This permission is optional; the app is fully functional without granting camera access.

🔐 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore & Firebase Authentication), which employs industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Passwords are hashed and managed entirely by Firebase Authentication
NID numbers are stored in a restricted Firestore collection accessible only to authorized administrators
We do not store credit card, bank account, or payment information
FCM tokens are stored temporarily and refreshed periodically

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and to contact us immediately if they suspect unauthorized access.

🤝 Information Sharing

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

Firebase / Google: Our cloud infrastructure provider. Data stored on Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Administrators: Authorized Elevate Invest administrators who manage investor accounts and approve registrations.
Legal Obligation: If required by law, regulation, or court order in Bangladesh or applicable jurisdictions.

We do not share data with any advertising networks or analytics providers.

🔔 Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Notifications may include:

Account approval status updates
Monthly or periodic earnings summaries
Important platform announcements

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the App.

As a user of Elevate Invest, you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

🧒 Children's Privacy

Elevate Invest is intended for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users via push notification or in-app message. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
